Angelic Protection
I believe that in today’s world there is a spiritual war going on and the Lord sends angels to protect us in times of tragedy.
The bible teaches (Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”) that we are fighting a spiritual battle and we need to put on the full armor of God.
It was just a few months before the Lord opened the doors for the ministry I would start - that a tragedy could have changed the destiny God had planned for my family and I.
One morning I was eating breakfast at my parents house and we were sitting there enjoying breakfast. The dog was sleeping peacefully and everything seemed normal. Then, there was a pop type sound and I looked up at the ceiling. The sound was like when ice is cracking. The Lord opened my eyes and allowed me to see what was about to happen - God showed me the ceiling was about to cave in. Immediately I yelled for my parents to get out of the room and as I was leaving the room I pulled the dog with me. My parents left the room thinking I had lost my mind - but within a few seconds they saw what God had revealed to me. As soon as we were safely out of the room - the ceiling caved in. There was nothing left but rafters.
God’s protection was on us. The place where I was sitting had the ceiling fan on the chair. If I hadn’t moved I would have been seriously hurt and so would my parents and our dog. The ceiling fan broke the chair in half. I always knew prayers of protection were important - I gave God the praise and glory for his protection that day.
Scripture: Psalms 32:7 “You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.”

Bible Study: Ephesians 6:10-20

Prayer: Dear Lord, I just come to you in prayer and ask for your protection and guidance. Thank you for faithfulness and for your protection. In the name of Jesus I pray! Amen.
