Do you sometimes feel cursed? Perhaps you find that things in your house often just disappear – as if by magic – only to reappear months later in the oddest of places. Have you ever told off the children for something and then promptly kicked your toe or pricked your finger? The “evil eye” can do that! Maybe you’ve even heard cackling coming from their bedrooms. If there’s funny business going on at your place, you might just have a witch in the house.

This Halloween, why not give them a broomstick and get them out of the house to socialize with their peers where they’ll feel even more at home. Witches come in all shapes, sizes and personalities but even so, with a wide range of witch costumes for kids available it’s likely you’ll find just the right costume for your girl.

For the cheerful witch who never stops cackling, you might want to consider the Kandy Corn Witch Child Costume. She’ll have you cackling too when you see her in this lovely black, yellow and orange outfit with high striped stockings and tri-colored hat. If that’s a little too hot for your liking you might prefer to see her in the Pretty Pumpkin Witch Girl’s Costume.

The fashion conscious witch might like to make her statement in the Green Punky Witch Costume. If your sorceress seems to be heading for the dark side she’ll fit right in with the crowd in the Midnight Witch Child Costume – and if she can’t go anywhere without the right accessories, check out the spider and scaredy cat handbags.

Of course, the little man of the house who wants to work his magic on Halloween will need the Evil Warlock Child Costume. Fortunately he’ll be on your side on the night and you just might need his magic powers to fend off the many witches, ghouls, ghosts and other assorted creatures that will rise to the call of Halloween.

For the little witch who’s fast approaching her teenage years, you’ll need something a little special. She’s too old for the “cute and cuddly” look and too young for “hot and sexy” so perhaps the Sassy Pumpkin Witch Tween Costume is the perfect transitional outfit.

If you’ve a teenager in the house you probably know just what bubble, bubble, toil and trouble means. Teenagers try on all manner of “costumes” while they’re working out who they really are. Yours might want to try out the Pretty Potion Teen Costume.

For the teenager who likes to dazzle people with her charm the Emerald Witch Teen Costume is quite a spell-binder. If she has something against green she might prefer the Midnight Witch Teen Costume with its layered bright blue skirt.

There’s no need to leave the tiny little witch at home either. If your beautiful toddler casts a spell over everyone she meets, she’ll certainly bewitch the neighborhood dressed in the Pretty Pumpkin Witch Toddler Costume.

Halloween is the perfect night of year to let your witches exercise their powers – outside the house. Suit them up in girls witch Halloween costumes and let them loose.

Youngsters love making crafts, so take the time to look around and find some easy Halloween crafts for kids. Crafting does not need to be troublesome, and you can make easy Halloween crafts for kids with a little imagination, creativity, and some common household items. There is nothing more exciting for youngsters than to decorate your house with Halloween decorations that they have made themselves. They’ll feel pride in what they have made and have a great time doing it. Here are a couple simple Halloween crafts for youngsters that you may want to try.

we love fun foam that can be bought at craft stores or department stores. Buy many sheets in colors of orange, black, green, and white. Cut out some ovals and circles from varied colours. Look on the internet for Halloween photographs that you can print to your private printer. Attempt to find magicians, bats, skeletons, and black pussies. You will have to reduce these photographs to fit onto your base. If you’re particularly good at drawing, you may also try and draw your own! Cut these images out of contrasting fun foam colours and glue onto the shapes you have cut out. Punch a hole in the top, draw a string thru the hole and then hang these fun ornaments anywhere you can think of!

simple Halloween crafts for youngsters can even be crafts that are evolved from more difficult crafts. Want to have frightening ghosts hanging from your trees? Take a standard plastic bag you get from the grocery store and cut off the handles. Place a foam ball in the top for the head and secure with a rubber band. Then shred the bottom into strips and poke a hole above the head to insert a string for hanging. Don’t forget to draw on a scary face! For additional fun, attach a bell or two to the bottom of the strips so you can hear your ghosting in the wind.

eventually, one of the most straightforward Halloween crafts for kids could be the most fun. Get a few dark colored candles ?black ideally ?and provide your youngster with numerous trinkets like sequins, candy corn, fun froth shapes, or whatever you can think about. Have them glue these trinkets on the exterior of the candle and you’ve got a great Halloween decoration for your home!

easy Halloween crafts for youngsters are great methods to get youngsters interested in crafts and instill a sense of pride as visitors wonder over your great decorations. They can proudly say, made that!

She was first presented in the Philosopher’s Stone, that was published in 1997. She firstly comes out in the first novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, as a fresh student on her way to Hogwarts, just like Harry.

As the series advances, she becomes great friends with Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. She often uses her swift wit and crazy vast knowledge to help him in many situations. In the company of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger helps unravel the ambiguities regarding the school and defending people from Lord Voldemort.

Hermione is identified as a very elegant person who always has the replies to any questions! She enjoys to show off her cleverness and remembers a lot of school books by heart and frequently quotes them.

Hermione would hate to see her grade drop even a small amount. Her mother and father, both non-magician’s are very proud of her and completely assist their magician daughter.

Hermione Granger Costumes

You can create your own Hermione Granger costume by following the steps below.

* Hermione has sandy-blond, long hair that is usually spread out. You could fashion your hair this way or buy a wig.

* A Hogwarts school witch uses a plain black robe, hat and gloves. You can buy one at a religious store. These are usually worn by church choir members.

* Get an old book bag. Hermione loves her studies more than anyone. Thus, carrying a book bag gives you a better portrayal of the character.

* Fill up the book bag with things that will fill it but not be too heavy. You don’t want to be lugging around too much weight. You could even place book-sized styrofoams.

* For an extra feel, carry a few Harry Potter books. You could even pull them out and be reading them during the party or while trick-or-treating. People will probably find this quite amusing!

* Wear a white collared button down dress shirt and tie. This should go on underneath the black robe

* Don’t forget the skirt! Hermione usually wears a skirt with the white collared shirt.

* Make certain to carry a wand. Hermione wouldn’t be caught dead without a wand. It is not a problem how your wand looks, more that you have a wand.

For more fashionable Hermione costumes considering looking online. The quality and selection that you will receive at many stores will be much better than making your own costume!

Thor Enjoys Halloween and all the Harry Potter books. He has made a website dedicated to Hermione Granger Costumes. His goal is to create a site that is perfect for costumes from Adults to Children Hermione Costumes

Kids love making crafts, so take the time to look around and find some easy Halloween crafts for kids. Crafting does not have to be difficult, and you can make easy Halloween crafts for kids with a little imagination, creativity, and some common household items. There is nothing more fun for kids than to decorate your home with Halloween decorations that they have made themselves. They will feel pride in what they have created and have fun doing it. Here are a couple easy Halloween crafts for kids that you may want to try.

We LOVE fun foam that can be purchased at craft stores or department stores. Buy several sheets in colors of orange, black, green, and white. Cut out some ovals and circles from various colors. Look on the Internet for Halloween images that you can print to your personal printer. Try to find witches, bats, skeletons, and black cats. You may have to reduce these images to fit onto your base. If you are especially good at drawing, you can even try to draw your own! Cut these images out of contrasting fun foam colors and glue onto the shapes you have cut out. Punch a hole in the top, draw a string through the hole and then hang these fun ornaments anywhere you can think of!

Easy Halloween crafts for kids can even be crafts that are adapted from more difficult crafts. Want to have scary ghosts hanging from your trees? Take an ordinary plastic bag you get from the grocery store and cut off the handles. Place a Styrofoam ball in the top for the head and secure with a rubber band. Then shred the bottom into strips and poke a hole above the head to insert a string for hanging. Don’t forget to draw on a scary face! For extra fun, attach a bell or two to the bottom of the strips so you can hear your ghost “singing” in the wind.

Finally, one of the most easy Halloween crafts for kids might be the most fun. Buy a few dark colored candles – black preferably – and provide your child with various trinkets like sequins, candy corn, fun foam shapes, or whatever you can think of. Have them glue these trinkets on the outside of the candle and you have a great Halloween decoration for your home!

Easy Halloween crafts for kids are great ways to get kids interested in crafts and instill a sense of pride as visitors marvel over your great decorations. They can proudly say, “I made that!”

With Halloween right around the corner it is time to start doing some pumpkin carving. By now there are pumpkins for sale on every corner and pumpkin patches are in full swing. There will be a thousands of pumpkins carved this year for either your front porch or maybe even a contest. Below I have included some great ideas to make carving a pumpkin more fun and less messy.

First you need to decide on the size of the pumpkin compaired to the design you want to do on the pumpkin. Make sure that your pumpkin is big enough for your design, but don’t get a huge pumpkin for a little design. Complex scenes normally work better on short fat pumpkins while witches on broom sticks need to be on tall thin pumpkins.

You want to draw the design on a piece of tracing paper. If you use tracing paper it will make it easier for you to see when it is time to tranfer your design onto the pumpkin. You want to use an x-acto knife or a sharp knife. You want to score the pumpkin through the tracing paper. By scoring the pumpkin you are making carving much easier. And easy is what we are trying for.

Alot of times you want to maybe just pick up a pumpking carving kit. A pumpkin carving kit makes the job that much easier. Pumpkin carving kits are great for slicing through the soft shell of the pumpkin, but make it very friendly for our hands and fingers. And remember when using any type of tool aways cut or move away from the body.

There are also electric carving tools made for carving pumpkins. The simpler the process the more fun it is going to be. But make sure you don’t let the tool get away from you or you will destroy your pumpkin.

Pumpkin carving is something that takes place every fall. Some towns hold a fall festival and will give prizes for the best carved pumpkin. And just because you are not an artist you could still win a prize for most original or funniest looking.

So this year take the task out of pumpkin carving and have a little fun. Make it as simple of a job as possible. And have fun. Create something fun and exicting and just remember to be safe this Halloween.

A lot of people think that you can’t teach your toddler how to craft because they are so young, but there are all sorts of free and easy toddler Halloween crafts that you and your little one can do together. You will be teaching your child about all sorts of things when you take the time to craft together. Plus, you are spending time together which is irreplaceable when it comes to your child’s well-being. We were able to find all kinds of free and easy toddler Halloween crafts. Here are a couple you may want to try.

You can make a cute bat from your child’s handprint for a fun and cute keepsake. First, get a paper plate and pour in washable black craft paint. Put your child’s hand in the paint making sure to fully cover the whole hand. On a piece of construction paper or another paper plate, press your child’s hand onto one side with fingers splayed. Turn the paper around, re-coat the child’s hand and press the hand to the paper again with the heels of the hand matching up. Use white paint to make eyes or buy some googly eyes and glue down. Punch a hole in the top and put a string through to hang.

Finally, you can make cute Halloween ornaments from fun foam – our favorite craft supply that we feel everyone should have on hand! Get a few pieces of fun foam in typical Halloween colors – orange, black, white, and green. Draw circles and ovals onto the fun foam and let your toddler practice his or her cutting skills cutting out the shapes with safety scissors, of course! While he or she is doing that, you can cut out shapes from the rest of the fun foam. You can get patterns online for scary cats, witches, ghosts, bats, and much more. Cut out several different ones and then let your toddler glue the figures onto the shapes. Punch a hole in the top and put a string through so you can hang your toddler’s Halloween ornaments all over the house!

Free and easy toddler Halloween crafts can be found in many places on the Internet. There are many web sites dedicated to crafts that are easy for children of all ages, so you will have a lot of different and fun projects to choose from. Remember when you are looking for free and easy toddler Halloween crafts for you and your child to make that the important thing is spending time with your child – that is what counts in the long run!

Each Halloween you are given the opportunity to show your creativity with your Halloween costume ideas. The possibilities are nearly limitless once your creative juices start to flow. Halloween costumes can be grouped into several sub categories. This article includes a few suggestions to help you get your creative juices flowing.

Halloween Costumes On a Budget

When selecting a Halloween costume for yourself or your kids for Halloween and you don’t want to break the bank, have a look at what you have around the house first.. A Gypsy costume can be made simply by layering all of the necklaces you own and layering several skirts or putting scarves on as skirts as well as putting on a bit of make-up. Ghosts can be made of a sheet or pillowcase and a pair of scissors. Clown costumes are easily created with a sweat outfit and make-up. No clown costume is complete without a multi-colored wig that you can find at your local shopping center. Dressing up like a zombie is always fun too. Just take some jeans, an old T-shirt, and rip it to shreds! Then find one of those makeup kits and add dark circles, blood and whatever other creepy effects that will complement your face paint kit and your zombie costume.

Unique Halloween Costume Ideas

There are so many different possibilities when it comes to dressing up for Halloween. If you put your mind to it there are many things you have around the house that can make up a unique costume. You can dress up as a head on a platter by putting a table cloth on card board and gluing paper picnic settings to it. Then all you need to do is put the costume on around your neck so that just your head is sticking out of the center. This takes very little work but the reactions you get will be amazing. There are many other ideas but the most unique often happen when you really put your mind to work seeking the rare. If you’re just looking for a cool costume, one of the hottest this year is going to be Batman Costume. Another great way to get ideas is to look at the costumes that stores are selling on the internet and think how you can recreate them at home if you’re on a limited budget.

Sexy Halloween Costumes

If you’re into sexy Halloween costumes, one of the most popular costumes is a Sexy Pirate Costume or a French maid. Dressing up like a French maid or a playboy bunny is always fun. Some of the best sexy Halloween costume ideas start with a favorite movie star. If you can think of someone you like to watch on the big screen you can dress like a character they play in your favorite movie. Dressing up as Marilyn Monroe is an obvious choice, but you could dress up as Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider or even Christian Bale as Batman in the Dark Knight.

Couples Halloween Costumes

When you and a friend or your significant other go to a party as a couple it can be fun to dress up like your favorite duo. The two of you could dress up as Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid from the wild west. An angel and the Devil together is always a way to make a statement. Newly weds going as a bride and groom don’t always go over as well as you would think, but newlyweds “from beyond the grave” you might be able to pull off! Stick with Peter Pan and Tinker Bell or other characters who are usually together.

Group costume ideas

Some group costume ideas might include rounding up your group of friends with each choosing a Star wars costume. Groups of friends dressing up as the Three (or more) Musketeers, a Harry Potter costume along with his friends, groups of Zombies, and your favorite rock band lets others at the party know you are together. Groups of witches and wizards from specific houses at Hogwarts are fun too, especially if you can get cousins together and each family dress up in costumes from a different house.

You could choose from a variety of Disney costumes such as Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends or even some of the characters from Pirates of the Caribbean movies. No matter what costumes or theme you come up with, group costumes are always a blast to think up and design together.

Whatever costumes you choose have fun coming up with your Halloween costume ideas. Put on a wig, color your hair or throw on a funky hat and see how creative you can be with your costume this year. If you already have a general idea of what you want to be, start thinking how you can improve upon your Halloween costume so you can win that Halloween costume contest this year!
