Learn How Your Face Looks And Wear Your Glasses With Pride

None of us like to be classified, but it does help when it comes to fashion. As unique as you are, you have a distinctive shape that can be categorized and help you identify what does and does not look good on you.

Let’s start with you face, as pretty as it is, it has a shape to it. Although not all the shapes sound so pretty, all names are truly helpful when it comes to choosing a pair of Reading eyeglasses or pocking a a hair style. So pay attention and do not take offense to being a ball face.

There are generally seven recognized face shapes. Those include Oval, oblong, round, square, base down triangle, base up triangle, square, and the elusive diamond.

Knowing a face shape will help tremendously when selecting your next pair of eyeglasses or reading sunglasses. You see; the shape of your face is the number one indicator of what will look good on your face.

Regardless if you are a man or women, we all have different face shapes. The rules below apply when looking for both womens and Men’s reading glasses. The rules still apply

Below are some guidelines regarding your face shape and the style of glasses you might want to consider.

Round – Look for a frame that will make your face appear slimmer and longer. You can do this with narrow angular frames with a greater width. Generally, rectangular frames work well.
Oval – You have it good. Almost any frame will look good on an oval face shape.
Oblong – Frames with a lower bridge will help to shorten the appearance of the nose. Consider frames that bring attention to the temples to make the face appear wider.
Base-Down Triangle – Look for frames that emphasize the top half of the face, such as cat-eye styles.
Base-Up Triangle – Take attention to the lower half of the face with rimless glasses.
Square – The idea is to soften the face. Do that with rounded frames and narrow widths.
Diamond – Have fun with either extended upper frames, such as cat-eyes or go for a rimless style. Either will look great.

The basic idea is to go for eyeglasses that completely contrast the overall shape of your face. Look for round, oval, clic reading glasses, when you want to goof off. But if you want to look good, follow the rules. If you have angles on your face, wear glasses that have soft edges. Try it, you will start to notice that when you buy reading glasses, it becomes so much easier.

Fashion and face shapes has been practiced by beauticians and opticians for years. There is no secret to finding a pair of glasses that will enhance your great looks. The funny thing is that all you have to do is look for glasses that contradict you shape.
