Valentine�s Paper Bag Heart

Everyone loves a Valentine card, especially when they are homemade. Here is a cute, fun, quick project you and your children are sure to enjoy.

Supplies

Brown Paper Bag
Pinking shears, scissor, or craft scissors that cut different designs
Hole Punch
¼ inch wide Red or Pink ribbon or thick yarn
Markers, crayons, or finger paints
Glue

Directions

Using the scissors you have chosen, along with a parents help cut a heart out of the brown paper bag. Next, using the hole punch, punch a series of holes around the edge of the heart. Then grab your ribbon or yarn, and start stringing or threading it through your holes starting from the back. If you want, you can tie the ribbon into a bow on the front of your heart, or you can just glue down the ends of the ribbon on the back. Now its time to personalize your Valentine. Write a message of Love with your crayons or markers. Also, you can draw a picture, or use buttons, gems, or stickers to make your beautiful masterpiece.
