To the Moon and Back

I just had the chance to read To the Moon and Back to my sons last night and this heartwarming story made me choke up a bit.
This 24 page, full color book by Randi M. Hull is a story showing love between a mother and her daughter. Throughout the book a young mother wonders if her daughter knows how much she is loved, as she watches on through the years as her child grows into a young woman.
Ms. Hull is a mother of two children that were her inspiration throughout the writing of To the Moon and Back and other books as well. What a great job she has done capturing the bittersweet cycle between a parent and their child.
After reading the story to my young boys, it made me think about the years ahead and with that I had to give them great big hugs.
