Spring

Spring is a time of new beginnings. Animals will be having young. It is a time of new birth and beginning. As a child I loved spring because mother cat would have kittens. When it was time for them to be weaned – she would bring them to the house and disappear for a few days. She knew we would care for them and it was time for the kittens to depend on themselves to find food.

In a way this is how a new Christian grows up in the Lord. Just as spring is a new beginning – so is asking Jesus to forgive you of your sins and wrongs. When Jesus comes into your heart – all the sins you have committed are gone and forgotten. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

The most important decision a person can make is to accept Jesus as their Lord and savior. Have you asked Jesus into your heart? If not, why not ask Jesus into your heart now?

Matthew 4:17 “From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent for the kingdom of heaven is near.”
