As the author of this Chicken Soup story, I can tell you it is completely true. “Kim” and I both had to sign waivers saying so. The names were changed to protect the children. As of yet they have not been told the story of their birth. Who am I to be the one to tell them.

Don’t be so sure that this was the whole story. You don’t have any quotes directly from “Kim” (as her name is printed in the story but not her actual name). These Chicken Soup stories are often modified and modified until they barely remember the truth. My version of the story is very different. I bought this book yesterday and when I read the story I was shocked by how many changes there were.
