Volunteering at schools

I don’t know about you but I just love having the chance to help out at the school my son attends. It really makes me feeling like I’m taking a part in my child’s life when he’s away at school. It may not seem like much but believe me it makes me feel like I’m doing so much. I guess it’s true what they say, it’s better to give than to receive. It certainly is in this case, giving of my time is so personally rewarding.

I hope you get the chance to help out when you can. It used to be that schools had all the help they needed and parental support was the extra cherry on the top but now a days they truly do need the help. Our classrooms, students and teachers need that support. I had one teacher tell me, schools NEED parents help not just want it.

So, get out there if you can and give your school a few hours of much needed support. I will be.
